Starwood Hotels: SPG Rewards Program
Before merging with Marriott International, Starwood Hotels & Resort’s returning guest program was Starwood Preferred Guests (SPG). I developed several promotional sites and email campaigns for their ongoing promotions and Starpoints rewards club, presenting a wide array of partner brands while still adhering to the Starwood brand style guide. Many of the content components would be continually revised and reused, so modularity was a high priority. Given the international nature of their business, content was rendered in a dozen or more languages in several different alphabets. In order to ensure the text copy would fit into designs in any language, continual communication with translators was essential. Produced under contract with the Lacek Group at Ogilvy & Mather.
